There's been a lot of speculation about our ability to 'cure' type 2 diabetes, usually a lot of hype with very little substance.

Recently though there has been a research breakthrough called 'DiRECT - Diabetes in Remission Clinical Trial'

DiRECT is a research study investigating whether offering an intensive programme for weight loss and weight loss maintenance would be advantageous for people with Type 2 diabetes
