Welcome to the North Down and Ards Group

There are over 100,000 people living with diabetes in Northern Ireland and over 15,000 live in the North Down & Ards area.

Our mission is to be a friendly and helpful support to all these people.  We do this primarily through Club meetings, which are a pretty informal get together with a speaker on a topic of interest and a chance for you to to discuss diabetes and its effects with people going through the same issues.

Whether you have been diagnosed yourself or if you are simply an individual with a desire for knowledge and an inclination to take part, we welcome you to our group.

We also try to raise money to promote awareness of diabetes and generally contribute in any way we can - funds raise help with the running of our Club and the wider Diabetes UK services such as childrens camps and campaigning.
